Do you have a payment plan?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your shoot, and the balance is due 2 weeks before the date of the shoot. We take PayPal Credit, which will allow you to get your products as soon as they are ready after the shoot, or If you want to be able to pay off the shoot over time, we can do in-house payments. Just schedule your shoots a few months out and pay it off in payments. Let me know if this is something you want to set up.
Are the photos that I’ll see be edited to hide blemishes, stretch marks etc.?
When you view your initial collection of photos on the day of the session, they will have been slightly adjusted for color balance and exposure. Once you have decided on which photos you will purchase, these photos will be professionally retouched appropriately to emphasize your beauty and femininity but not change who you are. We believe in your natural beauty, so we do not edit you into a different person. During your session, I will be showing you the back of the camera so you can see in real time how amazing you are!
In addition to editing for color and exposure, here are the basics of our editing process
- Non-permanent skin issues. We minimize the look of bruises, acne, scratches, etc.
- Wardrobe malfunctions. If a tag is showing on the back of your lingerie, this can usually be fixed in post processing. During your shoot, we’ll pay super close attention to details and typically catch these issues.
- Skin smoothing. Each purchased photo receives light skin smoothing to reduce redness, and or, even out skin tones. Note: Tan lines can be difficult to fix without making the skin look doctored and are typically left unedited. For this reason, we highly suggest NO SPRAY TANS!
Is Hair and Makeup included?
Hair and Makeup is included in our boudoir shoots. I think its really important you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team will help you complete your look, whether its “I just woke up like this” or Full on Badass! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to incorporate it into your own signature style!
What should I wear?
You should wear something that makes you feel SEXY and COMFORTABLE! Feel free to bring your favorite pieces of lingerie or use the shoot as an opportunity to treat yourself to a few new items.
Keep in mind, though, that you absolutely do NOT have to invest in a lot of new lingerie to have an amazing shoot. Chances are, your closet is full of Crazy Sexy Cool stuff that will look great in photos. Not sure, bring a suitcase full and we will sort it out! When in doubt, a simple, flattering, black bra and panties Rocks it every time! And Let’s not forget the magic that can be created with a plain white sheet!
Will my photos be displayed on social media or anywhere publicly? Is it required?
We never share any images that we do not have permission to use. PERIOD. Boudoir photography is an immensely empowering experience. Some of my clients feel so empowered by the experience they can’t wait to show off their beauty. Our goal is to make you feel comfortable sharing as much as you wish. We have many different types of releases. You can just share non-identifying images, or share just to our VIP room private gallery. You can choose how identifiable you are in any shared images. Or we don’t have to share them at all! Of course, we love sharing and showing of our work, so if you are down for us to use your photos, we will never say no. A signed release is required for whatever level you choose.
Can I bring a friend along?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a friend! Your BFF or sister can help you feel more comfortable and can also be a great help while you are getting ready. We ask that you inform us of the guest before the shoot, and please limit guests to one person as we have limited shooting space. They may wait in the waiting area during your session.
What if need to reschedule?
We totally understand that things can come up that we didn’t originally plan for, and that’s totally okay! You are allowed one reschedule, as long as we are given 72 hour notice, or if there is a verifiable emergency. Please give us as much notice as possible to re-book your session. If you need to cancel without a re-book, there will be no refund of the session fee/retainer as per the contract signed at the time of booking. Rescheduling more than once will incur a $125 fee per request.
Do you shoot groups or do you ever do boudoir parties?
Oh Yes! If you have a group of women (say a bachelorette party) we have mini-session packages available for groups of 4 or more. We typically book your session in a spacious hotel suite, or even a beautiful AirBnB depending on how many are in your party. Everybody will have beautiful images for themselves, and plenty of fun group shots as well. And you get to keep the room for the night!
